March with us in the Mid City Gras parade! Costumes are encouraged but optional. Bring recycled Mardi Gras beads, handmade throws from cardboard and packaging materials, or just yourself. All ages welcome!

Who can participate?

Everyone! All ages are welcome. Bring your friends, family, neighbors — the more the merrier.

Do I need a costume?

Encouraged but not required! You can march in regular clothes. The more creative the better, but no pressure.

What can I throw?

Throws are optional and encouraged! Recycled or reused Mardi Gras beads, handmade items from cardboard and packaging materials, paper flowers, decorated boxes — get creative! Other parade-appropriate items work too.

Is this family friendly?

Absolutely! Kids are welcome to march and come to the Prep Party.

When is the Prep Party?

We're planning a drop-in Prep Party about a week before the parade at The Groworking Space (2964 Government St). Date and time coming soon!

What if I can't march?
